ROAD RACING

Circuit racers such as MotoGP athletes provide us with nuanced feedback about how gear feels on track, especially under race loads and not just in static tests. This includes the fit of suits and gloves during aggressive moves, how ventilation works at high speed, and how easy it is to operate controls.

We work together with experienced athletes such as Michele Pirro in MotoGP, as well as local talents who compete in national championships. Below you’ll find a brief introduction to each and every one of ‘em.

GP-LEVEL INSIGHTS

Every now and then, balancing on the fine line of the limit results in a one-way ticket to the gravel trap. It’s the risk that comes with the sport. If the rider’s alright, we head for the service trailer and go again.

The service trailer is the workplace of our racing support team and parked at the MotoGP paddock during race weekends. They make sure the suits are inspected, cleaned, repaired, or even replaced for a new one if needed.

Meanwhile, our racing manager receives the first feedback from the rider, which is then forwarded to the MACNA Vantage Point (MVP) in Italy for first analyses, marking the start of the innovation process.

MICHELE PIRRO

The most experienced MotoGP rider in our paddock was born in Italy, back in 1986. Michele has been active in the premier class since 2012 and has spent most of his time on a Ducati, primarily testing and developing World Championship-winning bikes. He also competes for the title of the Italian Superbike Championship and holds several Wildcards to participate in other events.

LUCA LUNETTA

The latest addition to our rider stables was born in Rome, Italy in 2006. Luca has participated in the Red Bull Rookies Cup for 3 years in a row, followed by multiple years in JuniorGP and Moto3. Despite serious injuries over the past years, he has earned his shot in Moto2 where he will line up on the grid from 2026 onwards.

VALENTÍN PERRONE

Born in Spain (2007) but competing for Argentine as token of gratitude for his father who always has his back. El Coyote joined us in 2025 after a good season in the Red Bull Rookies Cup. He continued his development and that of our racing gear in Moto3, where he has scored points consistently and even made it onto the podium.

DAVID ALMANSA

Another talent that joined us in 2025. David was born in Spain in 2006 and secured his first championship at the age of thirteen. He competed in the European Talent Cup and JuniorGP World Championship before touching down in Moto3. David has been developing steadily and already racked up his first podium in Malaysia.

MATTEO BERTELLE

This talented rider was born in 2004 and participated in both Italian and Spanish competitions. He also took part in the Red Bull Rookies Cup for a few years before moving up to Moto3 in 2022. This step has been a bag of mixed feelings so far, due to multiple serious injuries which have limited development until now.

JESÚS RIOS

A mysterious Spaniard about whom not much is known about his younger years. Jesús was born in Marbella in 2007 and caught our eye when he was doing well in JuniorGP. After two good seasons, he is moving up to Moto3 where he will be racing familiar faces such as Joel Esteban and Cormac Buchanan — more about them below.

JOEL ESTEBAN

Born in 2005, Joel started his first racing season in the European Talent Cup of 2021. After two seasons, the Spaniard moved to the JuniorGP World Championship and eventually up to Moto3. As of 2026, he will line up on the grid for LevelUP-MTA alongside our very own Matteo Bertelle.

CORMAC BUCHANAN

Another young rider who’s taken a familiar path. Born in 2006, competed in the Red Bull Rookies Cup and JuniorGP World Championship, and eventually arrived in Moto3. Mac Attack was born in New Zealand and spent his first season in Moto3 learning most circuits. With that out of the way, we can now focus on developing and improving.

JUNIOR GP

As you’ve probably figured out by now; the JuniorGP World Championship is a breeding ground for talent. We’re always supporting talented teenagers, specifically Rossi Moor and Tibor Varga in this case. Both riders are born in 2007 and have the Hungarian nationality, with Moor being born in Oregon, USA and also having an American passport.

MARCOS RAMÍREZ

The longest-serving rider over the past decade. We joined forces with Capitan Andalucia back in 2015 and we’ve had the pleasure of working with him ever since. Moving up the competitions over the years, Marcos has provided us with tons of feedback in Moto2 and Moto3. He competes in the World Supersport Championship (WSSP) since 2026.

HONDA BRASIL

João Carneiro (2004) and Guilherme Brito (2002) compete against each other in the Brazilian Superbike Championship (BSBK). They ride under the banner of Honda Racing Brasil, a team that is active in many different disciplines such as Motocross, Enduro, and Rally. João and Gui provide us with essential insights about South American riding conditions.

AND MORE

On a national level, we’re active in the Italian Superbike Championship with Michele Pirro (40), Luca Ottaviani (33), and Nicolas Spinelli (24). Erik Michielon (18) is also from Italy and currently competing in the Spanish Moto3 Championship. Vlad Neaga (26) is one of the best riders of Romania, and TJ Alberto (28) has been the Philippine Superbike Champion since 2021.
