STEP 1 CHOOSE YOUR COMBINATION
First, you’ll have to decide which body part(s) you want to keep warm. Each jacket, pants and pair of gloves or socks can be connected to different garments and powered in different ways. Based on what body parts you want to heat and how you want to heat them, you can choose the combination that suits you best.
HEATED GLOVES
Your hands (and feet) are the first body parts to get cold. Keep ‘em warm with a pair of heated gloves, which can be connected to a heated jacket.

STEP 3 CHOOSE YOUR POWER SUPPLY
If you’ve chosen a direct connection to your motorcycle — a requirement when choosing heated grips — you can skip this step and continue to step 4. The info below might help you gain a better general understanding of heated gear.
BATTERY
Depending on your chosen combination, your garments will be powered by batteries in the cuffs of your gloves, a battery in the pocket of your jacket, or a direct connection to your motorcycle.
12V batteries heat faster and reach higher temperatures compared to 7.4V. The higher the amperage of the battery, the longer it’ll last before it needs a recharge. The battery of your motorcycle is 12V in most cases.
[!] - When comparing battery life and wattage of 7.4V and 12V batteries, be sure to compare them at the same level of heating, not the same level (1, 2, 3 or 4) of the glove. For example, a 12V battery operating at level 1 is best compared to a 7.4V battery running at level 3.
STEP 4 ACCESSORIES
BIKE CONNECTION CABLES
If you’ve chosen for a direct connection to your motorcycle, select one of three power cables – for BMW, universal, or engine battery – and optional extras such as a Y-cable, spiral cord, or extension cable.
If you don’t want to power on every single garment separately after making a stop, take a look at our Bluetooth® Battery. This out-of-seat system is placed between power supply and garments, and functions like a stand-by option that keeps the Bluetooth® connection between your garments and the MACNA® Heated app active. After remounting your bike and reconnecting to the battery, the Bluetooth® Battery allows you to continue your ride at the push of a single button.
STEP 5 INSTALLATION
A video says more than a thousand words, so we’re going to keep it short this time. We’ve made a couple of videos that illustrate how easy it is to install the MACNA Heated app, our motorcycle battery cables, and (Bluetooth®) heated grips.
TAKE FULL CONTROL
HEATED APP
The MACNA Heated App lets you take full control over your heated gear. Connect your gear to your phone via Bluetooth® and you’ll never have to search for tucked away power buttons every again.
Full control over your gear means you’re always able to adjust the heating levels to your liking. You can select one of four heating levels — 40, 60, 80 or 100% — each indicated in their own colour.
Different pieces of gear can be grouped in the app, which lets you change the settings or heating levels of all your gear simultaneously. Do you know the exact time of your commute? Or do you want to save at least half of your battery life for the road home? Set timers for each piece of gear to make them switch off automatically.

HEATED GRIPS
The world’s first Bluetooth® heated grips let you control heated socks, pants, gloves, and jacket. Connect all your heated gear to the MACNA Heated app and adjust settings without taking your hands off the handlebars.
Our heated grips are also available without Bluetooth® if you just want to prevent your hands from freezing.
