3-layer

A 3-layer motorcycle jacket features three separate layers; the shell, waterproof membrane, and thermal liner. This makes a 3-layer jacket suitable for all seasons. The shell can be worn with the membrane and thermal liner attached, or with just the membrane. Attaching the thermal liner to the outer shell is not possible. 3-layer jackets are available in all styles.
