Thanks to new insights provided by our athletes, we’ve managed to innovate their airbags and make a real impact on their safety, comfort, and speed.
Unlike traditional airbags that need to be shipped and serviced after each use, an OCTO airbag can be used up to 6 times before you need to replace the bag. Thanks to the bag’s in-house developed fastening method, the system doesn’t need to be shipped to be serviced and can easily be transferred to another suit.
On average, it reduces the total weight of a rider’s suit by 10%. Weight reduction also means reduction in volume, resulting in better aerodynamic coefficients. All riders displayed a consistent increase in top speed compared to lap times with traditional airbags.

Our OCTO provides double deployment so riders can keep going after a minor incident. The airbags deflate quickly after the first crash and are activated again by a second cartridge in the suit when needed.
It is developed at a state of the art facility in Italy to ensure the shoulders, ribs, and pelvis are well protected. In addition, the chest area enjoys superior ventilation in combination with a ventilated chest protector.
