Battery

Instructions

In order to ensure a battery lifespan that may be expected, the following points should be adhered to by the user:

CHARGING

• To acquire maximum capacity, the batteries need to be fully charged before being used for the first time.

• To avoid stress, the batteries need to be charged regularly, which will likely be partly. It will not lose capacity when being partly charged as lithium batteries are not subject to the memory effect.

• To prevent unwarranted damage through faulty charging, batteries should only be charged with the provided charger.

USAGE

• To make best use of the batteries’ capabilities, use them regularly, ideally on a daily basis. This will keep the batteries in good shape, in contrast to sporadic usage.

• To allow the battery cells to stabilise, fully discharge the batteries once every 30 charging cycles. Do not forget to fully recharge the batteries, regardless of them being stored or used.

STORAGE

• To prevent damage through self-discharge, batteries need to be fully charged before being stored. Without a full charge to let self-discharge occur over time, the batteries will incur permanent damage.

• To prevent lack of charge through self-discharge, batteries need to be charged at least once every 5 months. More often is recommended

• To minimise self-discharge, disconnect the batteries from charger and product before storing them in a cool place at room temperature.

Damage through faulty usage and damage incurred by not adhering to the points mentioned above are not covered by warranty.
